Liftradio

Elevator Radio is a Netherlands-based internet radio station located in the city of Eindhoven, Noord-Brabant, that is run by students (and supported by alumni involvement), giving participants hands-on experience in broadcasting, production, and creative audio. It serves as both an educational tool and a public platform for students and alumni. The station is designed to allow students to play with ideas in radio, from DJing to talk programs and sound projects. It uses the medium of live broadcasting as a form of “urgent publishing,” a way to quickly amplify voices and ideas within the design community. As a staple of the Eindhoven creative scene, Elevator Radio is highly active during DDW, hosting live interviews and sound performances.
