About L1 Radio
L1 Radio is a Netherlands-based internet radio station that is dedicated to covering local news, events, and issues relevant to the Limburg region, including regional politics, sports, cultural events, and community affairs. L1 is no longer just radio and television. At the beginning of 2000, the station got its first internet site, which at the beginning was little more than a few pages with basic information about the broadcaster.
L1 Radio continued with the digital news platform under the brand name 1Limburg until March 4, 2024, after which the news platform will be known as L1 News. This radio station offers a diverse range of programming, including news bulletins, talk shows, music programs featuring both contemporary and classic hits, and cultural shows highlighting local traditions and history. It primarily broadcasts in Dutch, with some content in Limburgish, the regional dialect. In addition, there is L1.nl, renewed again on December 5, 2016, with functions such as missed broadcast, promotion, and program guide.
