About Fantasy Radio
Fantasy Radio is an internet radio station based in the city of Amsterdam, Netherlands, that broadcasts 24/7 and focuses on Italo Disco, a dance music genre originating from Italy in the 1980s, featuring catchy synthesizer melodies. On this radio station, listeners can request records (20 per day) from our large music database, and this way they can hear their favorite tracks the whole day.
Fantasy Radio prides itself on delivering nothing but the best in disco music, and its vast library includes tracks from some of the biggest names in disco history, such as Donna Summer, Chic, and Gloria Gaynor, to name a few. The station was founded in 1990 and started as a local FM radio station in the Westland and The Hague areas. It is always on the move to create as much variety as possible and to have a team of enthusiastic DJs.
