Classicnl, formerly known as Classic FM, is a classical music-format radio station based in the city of Amersfoort, Netherlands, that broadcasts light classical music 24 hours a day. Atmosphere-enhancing, but not determining, soothing, accessible, and inspiring. The station is now available nationally on DAB+, cable, and internationally on the Internet.
Classicnl (Classic FM) is owned by Bakker Oosterbeek Beheer BV, which acquired the station from Telegraaf Media Groep which owned the radio station from 2006 until November 2017. The station plays classical music, with shorter pieces during the day and complete works at night to target a younger audience. The most beautiful symphonies, incomparable orchestras and ensembles, the best soloists, and the greatest masterpieces, listeners will hear them all in an accessible variety of different periods, styles, and performances.
